He earned my respect with this speech. One of the few times I have heard a politician use reasoning and logic in a speech about religion.

lol, i'm definitely not liberal, but McCain scares the hell out of me. Most of our liberals are too liberal, and our conservatives are too conservative. I wish there were more people right in the middle that were able to think for themselves, reason, use logic, etc. It's sad, but this election comes down to who I dislike the least, not who I like the most.

mccain is too liberal for most conservatives... hes pretty much a democrat except for his support of the war...

He is spitting all this religous babble to try and get the conservative base behind him.

All it comes down to is pandering to groups by both sides. I guess my main beef with McCain is the war. I don't want to stay there, and really that's what the majority of my decision is going to come down to since I don't particularly agree with either candidate on the majority of issues. We've talked before, but I don't agree with most liberals fiscal policies. Then again, the republicans haven't done any better. We need someone to step in that's going to cut the heck out of spending and get rid of the majority of government subsidized programs. Build a sound free market economy where competition drives innovation and lowers prices. We simply don't have that right now.

I hope america doesn't screw this one up and vote McCain in since a good protion of dems are mad that Hillary had to concede.

We really need something different and an out of touch old man isn't going to serve this country any better than Bush and his cronies have done for the last 8 years.
