I'm new and trying to get some post counts so I'll show you pictures of my 94 MR2 Turbo. This is a twin-motor car! It's equipped with a 3SGTE in the back and a 1MFHE in the front. :D

I'm not allowed to post pictures yet.... so sorry guys/gals

I'm glad that you care about my financial investment. Spending money on cars in general is a waste of money. We're all wasting money modding our cars and we'll never see our hard earn cash again. Even if we try to sell the car, people always pay more for an unmolested car. So I don't really see the point of your comment? :Beer:

True but that's a subjective opinion. Everyone has a different perspective on which modification is worthwhile or not. Some people like "show" modifications, while other prefer "performance" modifications. Some people like to follow a bandwagon on the general public of what is considered a tasteful mod or not. While other people strive for something new and different.

Having a twin-motor setup may sound stupid to some folks. But is it really retarded, when we have other people out there doing a Mid-Engine H22 Integra? I think the Mid-Engine H22 Integra is badass but I'm sure a certain group of people will considered that retarded and waste of money.

That picture above posted by vince, is a real working twin Jet engine MR2. Just search youtube and type "jet engine MR2" you'll see it running.


As for my MR2, I haven't done any 1/4 mile runs yet, so negative on the time slip. I'm a few posts away from being able to host the images. :smoker:

The owner of the MR2 in the Ultimate Street Car Challenge is Brad Bedell, but that car wasn't a twin-motor. It was a V6 1MZ swapped MR2 with a supercharger.

Hey Brandon, I know which article you're talkin about. Its the 2002 Ultimate Street Car Challenge. But it's probably been awhile since you have read it because the twin-engine car wasn't from an MR2 it was a twin-engine Hyundai Tiburon.

I dynoed that little guy but he died on the dyno so i replaced him with a fully balanced hamster and got this. I need to make this new guy stronger.

It was a dyno day meet thrown by my school's car club for $25 bucks. Don't worry that was the only time that I was ever there at Racing Trenz. :boobies: I do all the work on my car.

That MR2 has both a supercharger and turbo. Sounds wierd but is true, and the turbo could be removed in only 45 minutes and replaced with a pipe that connected the DP and manifold. It was bad ass, and was a thread all over mr2oc.com awhile back.

I think you may have mistaken this car for something else. This car is not twin-charged. It's a supercharged V6 with nitrous. You can find out more about his car on his website.
