Sooo, I'm in class right now, kind of just drifting away too la la land and a thought starting coming to my mind. What is the ideal, or perfect, compression for a motor you're looking to run high boost and high bottle on? I was thinking like a LS (steriotypical, i know) on a nice big turbo, running like 18psi and shooting like a 125-150 shot on the side? Is that just dumb, or a lagite project idea?

So your going for about 500 to the wheels? With an ls your already starting pretty low at 9.2:1. I would probably go higher like 9.5, but thats just me.

Dumb? kinda. Ideal? Not that easy.
Factors to take into account:
- cylinder head design (quench, swirl, port design/flow)
- cams (dynamic compression)
- octane
- intended purpose (drag, street, road race...)
- how precise it can be tuned
Just to name a few. But to make it easy for you...
1. Forget the nitrous
or:
2. Forget the boost
3. 9:1
Sorry if I'm a little forward, but I just like to get to the point. :)

Those numbers I just pulled out of my ass. I litterally have no idea where to even start with a project like this. It a future project but something I've recently looked at building. I just said 18psi and bottle so you got the idea of how much power i want to put down and the setup i'm looking for. Those numbers and statistics where not looking to be specific at all.
To answer you question...i'm unique...and slightly insane yes lol When I go out I go ALLLL OUT!!! I don't hold back. If i'm going to build a car like this I will not hold back in any way shape or form.
I love creating builds that no one else would do. Builds that people look at and say either, "That's dumb" or, "That's just insane!!" I love being the underdog and coming out on top leaving everyone speechless saying, "holy shit...he really did it..." All my cars are going to end up like that eventually. It's just the way I am.

For starters, its nitrous. I didn't see anywhere where he said which brand he wanted. And do you have a reason for thinking that is insane or dumb?
