View Full Version : Stolen: 2007 VW Rabbit. From NE in downtown Denver

Some good friends of ours were in Denver Saturday night for an art show. Dont have the address, but will try to get it. Anyway, they had a 2007 VW Rabbit. They come out from the art show to find that they no longer have a car. They either had their keys pick pocket'd, or they lost them and someone found them at the art show, and then found the car. They had to have their parents drive from Scottsbluff to Denver to pick them up Sunday. So pretty much a big shitty deal for someone from out of town. Just thought id post this up for everyone to keep an eye and ear open if they can. I know its a VW, and no one really hears much, but i just would love a theif to get caught for this. Description, VIN#, and plate # below.

Boo fucking cracker on that. I will keep my eyes peeled. Can you also post the colors of the plate as well (main and letters) for those of us who can't remember what the Nebraska plates look like?

Rabbit was found abandoned today. The car was pretty much taken on a joy ride as every body part is pretty messed up from being ran into things, the headlights are toast, and the theif threw a cinder block through the back window for the hell of it. All of their posessions were taken, but interior was left alone. The keys were not recovered, and the insurance company will not pay to have the ignition, and door locks changed as they dont think thats their problem which i think is pretty shitty. Dont know if ill be able to get pics of it, but if i can i will. Its about what i expected for a turnout of this event, just sucks i know that no one will get punished for it and shit like this will continue to happen.
