02 civic dx I/H/E

ive been looking for these parts through google, but everything i find is for civic ex. I have a four door.

just wondering if anyone has any links, or can help. ive been to honda tunning and honda forums. i dont know if i should trust ebay stuff or not. this car is a dd, but i love the way it handles(its just on stock suspension....for now).

I'm pretty sure motor-wise the dx and ex models have the same motor so the you can use those parts. It'd be better if you typed in your engine code when searching for said products.

i would say a ebay intake wouldn't be that bad. how much can different can a intake tube be? theres the arc and password jdm ones but they're really just bling factor i think.

i think they're both d series engines so you can interchange i/h/e if you want.

I'm 99% sure that the DX and EX run the exact same motor. It's simple bling factor stuff that makes one better than the other. The radio, power windows, that kind of stuff.

As for intakes...I will never and I repeat NEVER go out and spend an ass load of money on an intake. You can get a 250 dollar one from ebay or a 60 one from VatoZone, in the end, they're going to work exactly the same. They're all the same. Just a piece of piping with a filter attached to it.

DX = D17A1
EX = D17A2

The motors are different. The DX header has the cat built in to it. The EX is set up with a header and cat after. To do any exhaust mods you will need to buy an EX header, cat and catback to make it work. They dont make DX headers.

price does matter in quality though most cai just have a different variety in how they flow same with an exhaust and intake manifold it pretty much does really matter in how much you pay i was first skeptical on price differences but ive seen alot of differences
