Your racing that thing before it's even broken in? I wouldn't take it above about 4K for 1000 miles personally.

wasnt racing really...and the owners manual said to stay away from full throttle starts, and hard breaking...both of which I have been doing for 600 miles.

vtec is phun. :)

damn, only 400 more to go mike! The question is......can you make it!? Id be goin nutz if i couldnt gas it, but oh well, better to not gas it now then not be able to get full potential out of the motor later :)

I'd be up for a quick "twisties run" over Thanksgiving weekend :) I'll be in your neck of the woods. bear in mind I'll be on all weather tires. or should I bring the Azenis A/S 225/45s? ;)
