Hello all! The name is Ryan Haenny, AKA Styluss. I am the owner of StylussCustoms.com, a Colorado created automotive business specializing in 3m Clear Bra services, parts finding and more.
I dont think I will ever own an import, but again, dont get me wrong. I have nothing against imports, just RICE! As a Chevy and a Ford owner, I have been a domestic driver all of my life. Let me please state that not all imports are rice, and yes, even domestics can be riced out. We need to form the unified front againt every grain of rice in the automotive world!

With that said, let's talk about my anti-rice mobile.
I am the proud owner of a 1989 Chevrolet Beretta Euro GTU. This car has come a long way in the 3 years I have owned it. Originally a base model Beretta, I have not only converted it into a GTU model, but I have also "finished" the worlds most complete Euro Beretta conversion. Chevrolet made around 2800 Beretta models for the European markets. These models had a few small differences to them such as headlights, tail lights, side mirrors and more. Through a wonderful partnership with a Beretta owner across the pond, I have acquired numerous Euro parts making my car the most complete Euro Conversion outside of the European states. If you cant tell... I am very proud of that fact!

SO, think you can welcome a import conversion??

Ha! I think those are crap! Funny thing is, the bottom picture is of my friends car. He has since lost the huge wing. That car is in Holland, one of very few Berettas out there. It is actually done up really nice, especially now that the wing is gone...

I sent some pics to Deceptakhan... I would hope he posts them soon. I see you guys have a meet coming up? I will have to try to check it out! I am always looking for new automotive contacts here in Colorado. I am a part of RiceKiller.com, Colorado's newest Automotive Enthusiasts group. We have 2 meets weekly, one in The Springs/Pueblo and one in lakewood. Check out that website for all of the information! I would love to see more imports at our meets!!! In fact, this weekend is a ton o' fun!! I posted about it in your upcoming events section. You all know Bandi is open... They will be running a TnT this Saturday, then we have our Ricekiller meet, then on Sunday there is an AutoX!!!

Thanx for the welcome. I will post up around the board and get to where I can put up numerous pics of my conversions, upgrades and more.

Cool. I actually like Berettas; it's too bad they've been neglected over the years. I used to have an Indy Pace Car t-shirt with a Beretta on it. I have to ask though, why a Beretta?

i seem to remember this car from somewhere, didnt you do the 50$ paint job on it?

Thanx guys!

Dillon, yeah... it is a shame everyone forgot about these cars. There are still a few of the Limited edition Indy's out there, and some of them are still really taken care of. But it is true, most Berettas you see are run to shit and have been totally riced out or neglected heavily. As for why a Beretta?? Well, it was for sale on my street right after I got my tax money. I had always wanted a second car and it seemd perfect. It is an '89 and when I bought it she only had 67,000 original miles on her! That and tinted windows, keyless entry and remote start. Not a bad deal for $1050. then it all snowballed from there. My friends showed me around some junkyards, then they got me into AutoCrossing. Then I found out about BStuff.com, a Beretta only forum. I just went crazy from there on out...

Deceptakhan, there really are interior differences between the US and Euro versions. They were all mostly cosmetic exterior changes. My car has most all of the available Euro pieces, except the rear bumper, the side markers (for high in the front fenders) and the rear bumper fog lights... All which make the car look poor in my opinion. the only piece I have yet to obtain that I want is a full euro guage cluster. VERY hard to get ahold of but my contact in Holland is always looking for one... As for how it runs with the little'ol 2.8? For what it is, it is a beast. I have done most everything I can to the engine besides cams and rockers or just a flat out engine swap. no one really takes the time to do up these older engines. My car is bad ass for what it was, and what it is now. Sure, I might be only pushing 120HP (MAX) but it is a quick, very well handleing car. The car is so stiff, I can 3-wheel it on large enough dips or very seldom at autocross events.

PontiacCrapper, A Quad4 swap??? Oh no no... If I do a swap it will be a 3400 and then I will consider supercharging it! the Quad 4s are so iffy. Known to blow head gaskets and have whack general issues. The 3400 will hold up a bit better.

I love this car, and I'm glad to see it has been accepeted here!

I used my own version of the $50 paint job on it. I have termed it the "Poor Mans Paint Job". Since I cant post a link, google it. I am in fact painting the car I posted in the "Rice" section with this method today! The results are amazing. And yeah CyberGreen... that is just about THE best part of this car, the fact that no one else really has one!

Oh no, I believe you on the differences. I just asked because last year I went and collected parts to convert a 2nd gen integra into a GsR, they are pretty rare(about thew same production #'s as that Euro spec). The interior is different, along with subtle exterior differences. Like the beretta, most 2nd gen integras you see are beat to shiet or riced out and beat to shit. So, I just wanted to see the interior, I know how hard it is to convert, though in your case prolly a bit more difficult.

In my case??? No way. Swappign interiors is sooooo easy. When I boght the car it was blue inside. I swapped it to gray in a day. Then I swapped in some of the more rare pieces, GTZ / Indy edition door panels and rear panels (very limited run numbers). THEN... I finally found all of the pieces for a black interior which is also very rare. Just last month i did the swap to all black. It's hot. I'll send a pic now....
