I (with much help from friends) built my sister's first car, i call it "sister's golf". It is a 1985 USA production 2-dr Golf GL that was tan and abandoned at safeway in highlands ranch. She has been driving it around since about june and it has been running fine. It has an OBDii 2.0 crossflow (ABA) motor swap, Central Electric II electric system, 4 wheel disc, steel braided brake lines, recaro interior, corrado g60 wheels, audi TT pedals and some other stuff that i am missing (paint...duh!). It has upgraded doors, hatch, grille, lights, airhorns, bumpers, smoothed all the body holes...

Plans for the future are A3 dash and other interior stuff.

old pics first: he is what the car used to be: :D

Thanx for the compliments...my sis loves the car! She picked the color and has been doing some of the work on it now. She got an exhaust last week, and she ordered the TT pedals (she helped me install them). I want her to get smoked e-code aero headlights, but her friend wants her to get dual rounds...i think that aeros work better on that car. Oh, i forgot, it has euro-fenders too. We had to do an intake because of the motor swap (i perfer airboxes) but at least we got the Eurosport heatsheild.
