haha , This was a perfect 80-90 MPH Snowmobile torn down for this. Ive always had dreams of at least 50 mph on a golf cart. Also we need something to keep up with the Pit bikes to carry gas and coolers for us for camping. We're gonna use all the Gauges, the motor, and Gonna do a solid chain driven Axel in the rear to eliminate the Golf Carts 12 to 1 transfer Case! Next might be wheelie bars. I will post more pics and my build thread this weekend. We test drove the Sled up my Alley and it did a 3 foot wheelie barely getting on it. They both way about the same so we'll see what happens:-):drink:

it originaly had a 650 snomobile engine in it, but it was built to be a fairground cruiser, the snomobile engine didn't make enough torque down low for slow cruising, but it screamed up top, thats why it was switched over to the sportster.but man was it fast with the snomobile in it, and quite scary because it is only a 3 wheeler. yours should be kick ass:thumbup:

i didn't build it so i'm not really that sure but i know that the problem he had with it was that the motor would be screamin at low vehicle speeds. and the whole purpose of the cart was just slow cruizin transportation at car shows and such.
i think that the snowmobile engine was just to much for low speed.
if you want fast then i think the rotax is totaly the way to go.
