Just wondering if anybody who goes to Auraria campus (UCD, Metro State, and CCD) some people are thinking of starting a car club on campus, due that we don't have one and we just seeing how much interest there is to start one. So does anybody go to any of those schools on Auraria campus?

ya, I saw your FD on campus one time. There is also an solar car club or something like that, where they are building a solar car to compete, I think. Ya there is a whole bunch of ricers on campus, but I'll talk to this kid I know he should be able to get everything setup (ie. paperwork, and etc.), then maybe a meeting could be held on how the structure of the club should be.

Yeah, because the other sport compacts are obviously much more serious race cars.

I don't remember what color it was, however it was a S13 with a big Vivid Racing sticker on it.

Hey venge I think you know Brian V., right? Well I hear that we are going to start filling out paper work for this club to make it happen. Once it gets approved a meeting will be held in which the structure of how the club would be decided, also a president, vice-president, and treasure will be elected.

Huh I think I might know Brian too...does he drive an SRT-4?
I don't go to DU, but I'm in the area enough...couple of my friends live right by there. So if a club started up around there I'd be down.

It's not for DU, but for Auraria campus actually, I think for now it will be for Metro, but anybody can be a member of this club though. I'm talking about a different Brain, though. Ya if you want you could come to the meetings and stuff, I don't think it should be problem.

Hey, we need some interim officers for this car club, if anybody who goes to Metro and wants to donate some of their time to help start the club, please let me know. We are planning to just hold elections during this month, to elect some officers, but we just need some people who are willing to just help get this club on its feet.

Don't forget to show some love for the Auraria employees: we may be older than the students, but some of us still like to drive!

Well I want to get this started, but I been so busy with school I don't really have time to commit for this right now. So far I could be a starting officer, and I have another person who is also a starting officer, so I just need two more officers who would be willing to get this club started. Also additional help is also welcomed.

I don't think I can help sponsor the club, as I am a UCD IT Services manager, not a faculty member -- sorry!

Well you can still join the club, the club will be open to everybody. To keep everybody posted we are in the process of getting the club approved this week and we will probable hold a meeting towards the end of the finals week.
