CU Sports Car Club - Car show April 12th

The CU Sports Car Club is having it's 2nd annual car show on Saturday April 12th. This is a free to enter show that is judged for various categories and complete with trophies/prizes. In addition various local performance shops, vendors, and sponsors will be present at the show providing awesome cars, free stuff, food, and more.

Registration beings at 11 AM and the show starts at 12. We are working on getting an online pre-registration going. If you are going to show please reply with your name and car's make/model so we can get a tentative list going.

Location:
Boulder, CO
Colorado Ave. and Regent Dr.

Directions:
*Take US36 towards Boulder
*Right after the freeway ends make a left at Colorado Ave.(the first stop light)
*Turn Left at Regent Dr.
*Turn left into the parking lot and register

It's free to enter, there was a fairly good turn out last year, should be a good time.

Nope, they lock your car down to the parking space and don't unlock it until you do 13 jumping jacks on your left foot while singing the meatspin song, which has to happen prior to 5:00 pm, or 4:37 pm if the weather is overcast.

i was there last year, some pretty nice cars, lots of subies for sure. they gave the first prize to some rich young dude with a m5 which looked like shit he didnt even detail it or wash it and he wasnt even there when they called his name.

I havnt been in a few years, but theres no reason you shouldnt be able to leave... Good thing is that its a relatively "short" event, no 7am-9pm Nopi BS...

Yea I'm defently going had a great time at the show last year and you can't beat it being free, o and a bunch of us are meeting up at 10 at the scenic overlook after the superior exit on 36/boulder turnpike and then heading up to the show at 10:30, who ever wants to meet up with us before is more than welcome. Hope to see a good turn out at the show.

It was snowing slightly in Boulder this morning, it looks and feels pretty shitty now but it's supposed to be nice tomorrow.

Overall it was a great show, Somwhere around 125-150 cars, and very well judged! IMO

Lol! not even close, there were plenty of cars more show worthy then mine. they had 1st-3rd Japanese, europen, domestic, then some special categories like best engine bays, exterior etc...

I showed up late so i don't think i got judged. But great turnout. More cars than i expected. Does anyone have any pics.

they didn't really go around and walk from car to car to judge, if they saw a car they liked they would look more into it, i think that was kinda a mute point of the show beacuse if a judge didn't know anything about a certain car they could care less and just walk by, but i do agree the right cars got the trophy's that supra was SICK.

Overall I think it was a pretty good show. Good turnout and some really nice cars (some not so much). Free food and free entry were good too.

My only gripe was the way in which they gave out awards. You should not be able to win Best of Show, and then win other catagories as well. That Supra certainly deserved best of show, engine bay, etc., but I sort of like how Nopi does their awards so the best car doesn't get every trophy.
