Any thoughts or any one used obx wastegates?

just wondering if any one has used or know of any info. about obx line of wastegates,considering they have life time warranty on the wastegates.any inputs or comments would be great.thanks

I've heard decent things about them if you are boosting a fair amount of pressure. But most people that are looking at purchasing OBX boost products arent usually using them for more then 10-12 lbs and I've heard they are really inconsistant on holding lower pressure boost levels.

obx is an ebay company. i'd be a little nervous based on the quality of there other products

I've heard that their exhausts are ok but their other parts are questionable...if it were me I'd save for a better quality part, or if I couldn't afford one new, wait around and get a deal on a used part in good condition.

Any part that requires precision machining, or high quality materials (such as a WG or turbo) I would not trust to any company that gets 90% of their business from Ebay.

Think of the worst case scenario... valve seizes causing over boost, thus... you get the idea.

they're ok i wouldnt go high bost on it but but should work good under 15psi

On all the cars except one I've tuned that have actually had these, they either stick open or stick shut.
