seen that....looked a bit steep for a 11 y/o 188k civic, I am currently looking for one but if i am going to pay that much it better be maintained as hell with receipts. Not to nock your car, but economy plays a huge role on buyers no matter what NADA says. What is your final price?

Yeah I would have to agree, I would say a good price for this car would be more like 2,500, to be honest, and im not bashing your thread. But just so you know it is a clean car looks like you took good care of it. Anyway bump and good luck anyway man.

well I did get an offer yesterday for 3k but I really think I will get at least 3300 for it. I appriciate the feedback but this is not a car I am desperate to sell today so I can hold out for a buyer looking for a clean ex and willing to spend closer to what it is actually worth. Some people in this group devalue cars until it is their turn to sell one and I see them asking more than I am. I can understand not wanting to pay blue book for a car, but good luck finding a mint 97 EX for 2500 that needs no work. I enjoy spending less on a car than it is actually worth too but I feel over 1000 under blue book is taking into account the market. Its not like I am asking 7000 for an accord with coilovers. Thanks guys!!

demand for these cars and most hondas are high right now. 3500 is not all that unreasonable.

Thanks Monicle. I would agree with gas prices going the direction they are, many people are looking for a car with good gas mileage that looks nice also. And being a honda is reliable.

I agree i have a clean 97 hx and i wouldn't expect less than 4 for it. I think your price is more than fair.

just my .02 man. Good luck with the sale. (just bought a 111k 99 civic hb for 3,100 cl.)
- it was constructive criticism, I was trying to point out the three prices on a sale...what "they" say it is worth, What "you" say it is worth and what it "sells" for.
