Long time no see guys. Anyways im putting up my B16A for sale again. Going cheap now since it hasn't moved in about a year.

Needs Axles and Shift linkage. Has roughly 40K miles on it. Suggest seal rebuild build before you drop it in. compression was good across the board when i pulled it.

NO PART OUTS.

Extras Consist of ITR header, and Toda Flywheel.

$1000 obo.

Any other questions feel free to PM me.

don't low ball like a tard, this is a pretty good deal considering i'm just sick of having it sit in my garage

Does it have the LSD tranny? What exact seals need to be replaced?

Sorry man but a G for a b16 that needs new seals is not a good deal. Id say 800$ at most for the swap with extras. Last b16 swap I bought from Kwatanabe was 1016$ and with a Warranty of a sort. MHO

an OBD1 JDM B16A from HMO will run roughly 1.7-2k. It doesn't cost more then a hundred bucks to buy top and bottom end gasket sets for this motor lol. So on the contrary i think its a great deal if your willing to invest an hour or so to replaece the seals.

So i gotta call BS on that one brother

Nope. Honestly id say valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket would be a priority but for the most part every thing else would be for preventative maintenance. . .it has been there for a while

I didn't see the OBD1 which is My bad on that part. Mine was obd0 so looks like I'm the Asshat. http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:AfafpGet7fcVCM:http://grouse.net.au/~sirrobin/asshat.jpg

valve cover gasket cause i swapped that and the valve cover over from my GSR and the oil pan gasket, which i replaced once already but it lasted a whole month before it started to leak again.

If i wasn't so broke id just replace everything myself, but that just have me up-the-price to about 1250ish.

Its an awesome motor and id hate to see it go but im just too broke and too lazy to throw it into my DA . . . . so its up for grabs =P

Not to bash or anything, but from the looks of the pics, with all the oil on the inside of the bellhousing, Id say its possible that the rear main may be leaking too.

Do you have/recall the compression numbers? Also, could you supply us that are curious with leakdown numbers as well?

Thanks in advance!

compression tests were good across the board. If i recall correctly its was like 104.6, the lowest being like 103.9 or some shit like that. Give me a couple days i can do a leak down test and give you guys some updated numbers.

How did it start with 103 compression? My gsr has 180 across the board.

I'm just trying to recall what the dealer told me when i ordered it. Its not on the paper work or anything and i never done a compression test myself. not like i could do it anyways considering its out of the car.

I'm trying to get as much facts on this thing for you guys as i can. I only had it in my car for a few months before the vehicle got totaled.

I'm also searching high and low for the recite when i ordered it. But other then the leaks i promise and strong running motor.

Seems a lil low, but a leakdown could save the sale! Anything more ~20% isnt good, FYI.

G/L dude, free bump for ya!

werd, if anybody has one i could use or borrow for the test that be most appreciated. I know this motor has good compression, it wouldn't have been so quick and reliable with any compression leaks.
