IE is full of holes and comes from Microsoft, Mozilla is open source and very, very robust.

I had issues with the windows version - it kept crashing. But that could be my laptop, as work has it SO loaded up with shit that my dual core 2.2 ghz chip feels like a P90.

So far the on linux it's been rock solid.

I've used it in OSX, Ubuntu 8.04 beta, and Vista, Ubuntu seemed to be the fastest to render pages.

Unfortunately, Beta 5 doesn't work with Adblock Plus, so I had to find a Beta 4 install to revert back.

Been running it since alpha. It's MUCH faster than IE7 at rendering javascript. I wouldn't use anything else. In fact I tried the IE8 beta which was the buggiest piece of junk I have ever installed on a computer.

I have IE8 beta also and I can't get it to stay running for more than 20 seconds.

Same here, and it couldn't render any web pages I tried. Even pages I know for a fact are standards compliant. FF3 was more stable in alpha form than IE8 at this point, which is sad. I'm sick of building web sites, then rebuilding them to work in IE.
