Well I get up this morning, go out to my car(prelude), only to find my key won't unlock my door. I also noticed it looks like something was jammed in(and pulled out) of my door tumbler. So I pull the handle and guess what, its already unlocked. I wasn't suprised when my Deck and that whole plastic piece was missing.

If anyone happens to notice one of these for sale all of the sudden, please let me know asap. I am willing to pay a reward for the name and potential location of the culprit(lead pipe is itching). I doubt I will ever see this again, but its worth a try. I have been checking craigslist as well. Might also go down to the mile high flea market here in a day or so. Honeslty I am a little more butthurt that they took the damn center consol piece(the one the deck actually mounts into) than I am about the cd player.

For a 92 prelude? I need the center black piece where you would have to cut, if the deck were too big. It has the little "coin" holder thing underneath.

I'm sorry :( The same thing happened to my Sol. I also couldn't have cared less about the stereo, but they tore up my center console too. Luckily, someone on here hooked me up :D They tried to get into my trunk and jammed the lock as well. I tried my spare key, and it still works though. I wonder if it was the same dumbasses......

I appreciate it, but I doubt I will even put a cd player back in before I try and sell this bitch, and if I do.....Ill just have to remove (the whole damn thing)it every time I get out. Im thinking about maybe doing some kind of Bait car type deal. Except they wouldn't go to jail when caught. I would just do the ole "Ball peen to the knuckles" special.....Or pepper them with buckshot....Either way I guess this just forces me to be more prompt with moving the hell out of there. That sucks man. My accord got broken into recently, and all my cd's jacked. I always take my face off though, just so it kind of deters any theives.

....come to think about it, my car wasnt really "broken into". My window regulator went out, and I wasnt able to get it fixed before some cd scavenger came by...oh well, still know the feeling!

So now I have to wonder if they are going around and hitting Preludes. Mine was broken into on the 29th, and tried to get the car started with a screw driver. When that didn't work for them, they stole my stereo and everything out of it. It really sucks dude. I'm sorry and I definately feel your pain. I will keep an eye out for your stereo while looking for mine and my shift knob. Hopefully we can get these bastards. Your lead pipe might be itching, but I want these guys' balls for a rearview mirror decoration.

It might not be the same...but it might.....Nothing whatsoever was done to the ignition or any other part of the car....Im also thinking about getting survelance cameras (to record at night) for the new place. Honeslty no wires were cut or ripped, they left the Aux RCA jacks (for MP3 players) still in the car and everything. I'm thinking the same thing. The police finger printed my car and didn't get anything, but the thief did leave the screw driver in my passenger seat. It sounds like they just wanted your stereo, I'm sure they would of taken my car if they got it started. And I wonder why I have the urge to kill people. Fucking bastards.

I feel for you man. I had a DVD system, along with subs & whatnot, turns out the guys who installed it for me jacked me. Of course, I had to do a little something to them.
