Ok, I think most or a few people on here know that Troy's 1.8t jetta died.

I was just reading on Vortex, and strangely enough, Billy T's 1.8 is now dead also

Still, 532 wheel horsepower on the stock engine PLUS nitrous on top of that. I think if he would have layed off the juice he would have been ok.

I have no idea, I didn't see it posted there, but I remember seeing his last dyno at 532 without nitrous. Maybe the 561 or 661 was with nitrous.

no...he made 461whp and 550hp at the crank. brian, i just spoke with the guys at atp and they said the same thing "the gen2 won't be out for another 2 weeks"...god these guys need to get their shit together. I asked about the new stg 3 with the gt30R and its sounds pretty promising cause they also redid the software. I think that i'll still get the t3/t4E cause of price.

make that the 3 fastest....kinda.Rics k03 went bad after numerous runs on the 100 shot. Origionally when he thought it was going he filled up his bottle and sprayed everywhere. well now he thinks he just had a bad pcv valve and thats what was smoking not his turbo. But he already bought an atp stage IV used from someone and has it installed. with his stock turbo out it appeared fine but it had more play in the turbine than it should. Im going for a ride in the beast on saturday. he said hes still gonna spray a small shot. His engine is still fine but his car was out of comission for a month or so.

when i talked to him on monday he was still wating for his ecu to get back from atp and a couple other small things (injectors, etc) I will let you know how fast it is on saturday when i get a ride in it. Hes also giving me his old chris green downpipe which is getting installed saturday as well

Jeff, i'll have that intake out to you as soon as I can. We are still waiting on those small filters for the smog pump. Besides that they are ready to go.

Tyler, he did end up making 532 at the wheels. I'll dig up the dyno sheet :)

I called up ATP again as well and they told me teh same thing. They still don't have the dealer pricing figured out for teh stage 2 or 3. I think I might go with a stage 2 here if they ever end up releasing the damn thing.

good deal. Do you have any idea when this will happen? Im not in too much of a rush though cause I'll be playing with the new downpipe in the mean time. :)

brian...if you ever want to make realy big hp #'s your not gonna want to get the gen II. it doesn't come with a new exhaust manifold, there is a steal flange that adapts the gt25 to the stock manifold. The stock manifold will limit you to a max of 230-240whp. The way i see it, if you can get the stage III for like 400 bucks more(non ball bearing), it will be so worth it because if you get that thing tunned, it will blow every other kit away. Just look at that t3/t4E, that thing could easily push 30psi and hold 600hp.

I think i'm going to have a custom tubular manifold made anyway so that isn't a huge issue. I just really like the gt25 and gt30 turbo's :D

Jeff, Should have those filters in the next couple days. I'll let you know, but I should be able to shipo your intake next week.

Its too bad that neither of those cars hit the 11's. they both had the trap speeds but they couldn't get the tractionl..

Its a 2.0 8v which I plan on throwing in a turbo kit in the future probably a matrix kit
