So how is everybody? I'm new here, if you couldn't tell, but I hear GREAT things. I'm currently about to finish building my Nissan 240sx. The question I have is: the tranny has been sitting around for almost 2 years now, Is there anything I need to do to it before I try and put it back on the motor and in the car? A flush or something? is it going to be ok? This is my first rebuild and I'm trying to do it all right the first time!
I'd appreciate any help or advice anyone might have. so BRING IT! please.

I would just slap it on with a new clutch setup, bearings ect ect, and drain and fill with new fluid.

If its been sitting sealed full of gear oil it should be perfectly fine.. Change the oil to get rid of any contaminates and drive it.

If its been dry there might be rust or other bad stuff inside, I'd crack the gear box open and do a visual inspection before going through the trouble of installing it.

Ok so i'll just drain and refill. Then slap on this new stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel. Anybody got any opinions on those parts? This will be my first upgrade for a transmission. I'm really not quite sure what to expect. I hope it is still drivable for daily use... my girl will be driving it.
Ive heard some people like it and some don't.
Thanks for everything! :killtard:
