I do drive a silver civic with graphics on my hood only its a carbon fiber hood too! I drive a 2000 honda civic ex with intake exhaust, leather, sytem, body kit, and yes, graphics!

I was at IDRC, I got 6th place in the super stock class. I do have black housing headlights and I will have some picture for you guys to see maybe later today if I haave a chance to wash my car. I'm in the middle of changing graphics for the Nov. 9th show so it doesnt have any graphics, just to warn you!

I'm sooo glad you joined Lex, It is great to see more girls (Girl Racers) on HAI.

About seeing my new car in the day light, this may be difficult... Seeing as it gets dark at 5 now. Plus is so incredibly dirt you can't see it anyway!! Maybe you and Eric could stop by my office on your way to/from school one day and check it out. Or maybe we could do lunch tomorrow or something. It's getting there but has to go back to the shop to get the paint fixed yet again! :cry: But oh well, body shops are idiots. This just means that I will have to show a car that's not to my standards of normal. "usuk: I do like this hood better and Keith got me the hood squirters too WOOHOO! Soon it will be all good. I just don't know what to do for graphics and I'm running out of time... any ideas anyone?? (and dont say that I shouldnt put graphics on because my sponser is a graphic company and I have no choice but putting graphics on my car)!

I know what you're thinking about the squirters but all VIS hoods come with them and it's the best looking carbon fiber hood I have ever seen so I don't care! It still looks good so there... j/k. But having hood squirters is better than having two holes in your hood right?

me and mike are gonna do the frame work, and get the new fenders/hood on this weekend.

I think it's so cool when I find a female in a hooked-up car. Around here, everyone thinks I'm crazy. Everyone stares when I get out of my car and always say "I thought that would have been a guy". I get the same reaction when I get off my bike because I keep all my hair in the helmet and have the visor tinted. I'm use to it though. More power to ya! It's the best hobbie I've ever had, but expensive.

Its too expensive if you ask me! But it is cool to be a minority in th scene! It makes what you do to your car all that more inportant. I agree that when girls know nothing about the cars other then the looks it sucks. But it shows too. I am hesitant about this turbo set-up because it will all be custom, so I'm really taking my time in deciding how to approach this before I start. The guy who I had do my suspension did a great job, but it took a little trial and error because the car was brand new and we didn't know exactly what to expect. Now, I can take a 15 mph off-ramp at 50 without a sound. It handles great, but I want the speed. The intake and exhaust helped a lot, but not enough. I just have to accept the fact that it will never compare with my bike.
