so i put in my new cams and i feel a difference but i was told to advance the timing a little bit. should i do this? how much should i advance? thanks

Depends on the cam manufacturers specs and build sheet.

i really dont know why. maybe because the lobes open and close the valves at different times, and for a longer period

You have those cams? I thought you have a DC like in your sig? Will these work for 94-97?

the car in my sig is my car. its still an ls so they work

r they adjustable if they are i would throw it on a dyno 2 get the timing perfect and the most power out of them thats what i did on my friends ls

but i heard about advancing it from a couple people idk if i would i would do some more research if i were u dont wanna bend a valve good luck
