linking hondata s300

I try to mess around with my hondata for the first time since the time I pick it up and I can't get my comp to link with the s300 and this is a brand new system is that mean something is wrong?? also do the s300 come with a map already load into it

Update the USB driver in the Help section of Smanager.
There are several base maps preloaded in smanager to choose from. They are bare bones though and should only be used to get the car to your tuner with cautious driving.
