Not sure if we have a ton of golfers on this board. But, a buddy and I went to Golf Galaxy the other day because he wanted to look at some clubs. I've gone to a few shops for clubs before and never had much luck. Well, this place was excellent.
1) They have used club sets that are VERY reasonable price wise.

2) They didn't charge for advice like places do, so he was fitted and helped out by basically a pro-shop guy for free.

3) They have a Demo Range inside, so you hit on a big screen and it tells you club speed, distance, etc.

We were on that demo range for about two hours, he hit every club he was buying, I ended up testing out a driver and bought it. Overall an excellent shop and I would recommend going there for anybody that has budget in mind for golf.

I want to play golf sometime. I've only hit at the driving range before.

The Mad Russian is always fun. My coworkers and I brought our own beer and go in trouble for golfcart racing.

Mad Russian is fun. Indian Tree, Eagle Trace, and Hyland are good ones also. Eagle Trace is a good beginning course, pretty open.

Indian tree's par 3 gets busy as hell. The 5 is nice though.

This summer we should get a regular foursome going. We should also get some golfing in if there is time! WOOOOOT!
