Hey guys, sorry to keep everyone waiting. Mark and I had some struggle with scheduling, but all is said and done.

First I want to thank Mark for the great deal, and all his help in doing this. Your patience is greatly appreciated, as is this new opportunity. To those who do not know me my name is Josh.

To all his currnet customers, I will do everything I can to assure the same quality Mark did. I hope that you all will give me the opportunity to earn your business. Same with anyone who was thinking of using Mark, please keep me in mind.

I still have a couple business things to take care of before I can start coating, but it should not be that much longer. I will also be sponsoring HAI and will have a section, just give me a little time to get everything together.

Lastly, thanks to Tobi and Barb, I will be running out of TC Performance. They have been kind enough to rent me some of their space. This is great for me as it gives me somewhere to establish this endevor and build a name. For now this is something I am doing in my off time from my full time job. But being at TC's you will be able to drop off and pick up, whether I'm there or not. As of right now you can expect me there from 7am untill noon mon-thur, and all day on friday.

Thank you all for patiently waiting, it will not be much longer. Your new Powder Coating place is "Martian's, Powder Coating & Media Blasting"

Actually yes, that is something I'm looking into now. I'll let you guys know when you can start bring items in as soon as I can. There is some legal (Registering the business, insurance, ect) things being taken care of now, but it shouldn't take long.

Do you have any pictures of past jobs by chance?

Martian

Simon:
If the metal can be removed from the plastic then yes, if not then no. 400* = plastic goo

M@:
Eventually yes, but I need to get things going.

Nightfall:
As I do work I'll post pics, I will admit that I am new to this. However, Mark took the time to relay and teach me his knowledge. This is another reason why I'm not accepting work just yet. I want to make sure I can deliver good quality consistantly.

Martian, how long does the powdercoating process take from start to finish? I think it'd be incredibly convenient to just drop off my car at TC's for my 30k, and while it's there have the rims and calipers done.

Martian
02-14-2008, 07:33 AM
It depends soley on how long it ends up taking to prep the metal. The calipers would be easy and quick, the wheels would be the hinge point. If they have a tough finish on them they could take a while to strip, if not then they could go quickly.

This is an FYI for everyone, I do not have a tire machine and neither does Tobi. This means if you want your rims coated they need to be dropped off without tires and valve stems.

Howmuch would you charge for all four of the calipers on an Si to be coated?
