Job Title: Assembly and Test Technician
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Manager, Douglas Inskeep
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Assembly and testing of Intuicoms products, including analysis and repair of returned (RMA) products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembly of subassemblies into finished products.
Ability to solder board level components.
Loading firmware.
Configuration for testing of subassemblies and finished product.
Quality control and testing of subassemblies.
Quality control and testing of finished products.
Analysis of returned products.
Repair of returned products.
Timely completion of assigned jobs and duties.
Knowledge and understanding of inventory to build products.
Reporting and record keeping of activities.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school, equivalent military and/or OJT in basic electricity and electronics. Must be able to read and follow written test and assembly processes and procedures. Minimum 1-year experience as Junior Production Tech or equivalent in related field.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software and internet software.
Equipment/Machines Required for Job
Soldering equipment, basic hand tools, torque wrenches, drivers, and test equipment, DMM, Personal computer.
