ok, two things...first of all, can i use a b18b tranny? whats the ideal tranny to use? and second of all, ive heard so many conflicting opionions on one simple yes or no question. Can i use the stock motor mounts on the b18b with my chassis? remember i have a 95 civic coupe...any help would once again be appreciated, thanks guys.

You can use the B18B tranny if you want but the gears are really long and it might not be as fast as if you were to have a B18C1 tranny (GSR). I believe you have to get upgraded mounts. The stock integra mount (driver side) should be the only one that will work right. The passenger side tranny mount will have to be modified a little bit. Eric (ViolatorRH00) has a B16 in his civic coupe with a GSR tranny. You might want to ask either him or Butch (12seccivy) how they ended up doing it, and that might give you a little idea on the tranny mounts, but as for the main motor mount on the drivers side, i think the integra one should work out.

Good luck with your project.

You need an integra rear motor mount, integra front lower tranny mount, and the b-series AC bracket.......I can't remember for the life of me if the top transmission mount needs to be replaced or not.

there are 3 mounts and 2 under frame supports
you will probably need the drivers side upper mount
the rear"L" bracket(not the rubber mount though),and the 2 under frame mounts.the passenger side upper trans should be the same as yours.
on VIOLATOR's car he had the B16A2(from Japan) and the front mount on his civic fit,but if you use an american block then you'll need the mount too. i think he still has the d.s. upper mount,so check him out.
yes the B18B trans will work, gsr, type R and B16A also
the gear ratio on the B18 are further apart and more suitible for boosted honda's and the type R,GSR are more suited for N/A
hope this helps
