Sunroof question..

Hey, as you can see I have a 96-98 Civic EX. Now I was wondering if I could possibly swap out the sunroof for an Integra sunroof (Opens up and back). I know it can be done, but I don't want to cut off the whole Integra top and put it on my car, it's just too much work. I was thinking I could either swap out the whole sunroof setup, glass, motor and everything and just bolt it in, but I think size and stuff might be of concern. And the other thing I was thinking was maybe just take the rails and stuff from an Integra and swap out my rails with those. What do you guys think?

The rails and stuff are not interchangable. You might be able to switch teh entire assembly out of a 05 EX though. The body styles are really close and the roof opens tothe outside on those.

Why would you want to go thru that much work just to have your sunroof open differently? There are other mods that would be a lot easier and make for a nicer show car. How about gullwing doors? :)

yea but i do think the 92-95 EX opens like the 94-01 Integra does. I think you would just have to get the rails and motor and all but not the glass.

Thanks guys. And the reason that I want a sunroof that opens up and out is because I like it. Simple as that. Anybody else know of anything I might be able to do?

You're wack. I like havng my sunroof hidden when it's open. It disrupts the airflow less too. :p

It's ok I just like the way it looks. I don't drive with my sunroof open anyways. It just looks sweet.
