I guess im suppose to be 21 but my mom doesnt want to drive it since she likes her rav4 better so what can i do? Its a 08 chebby malibu. sp? Has around 980 miles on it. Its nice but not as fast as my spec. Actually its REALLY slow. :( I'm gonna miss my spec while its in ICU.

I'm glad that they didnt give me some POS car. If they would of I would of been one unhappy camper. But this is way better than I expected so I can somewhat enjoy it. lol
What does it matter if it was some crappy car? All you need it for is getting around.
Anyway, if you have full coverage on your own car, you should be able to get into a rental car on your own. Your mom could be playing with fire by just blowing off the rules though.

either way make sure you'er covered, i know a chick that got humped over when she got hit in her rental by someone with no insurance.
BTW once you're insured id go take that bad boy to Ward road and see if it can fly.

why the hell do you pull so close to the curb?
in a full size truck, sure, but in a car? you hit your bumper and scrape your oil pan.
i laugh at so many people who just ram into curbs with their front wheels to park and destroy front lips doing so.

Just be happy your not walking around or taking the RTD. I never mind rental cars, because you really don't have to give a shit about them. Just as long as you don't do something dumb, like wreck it which in your case would be bad, since your not supposed to be driving it in the first place.

Pretty sure he included reasons in his original post. But Audi had a recall on the A6 at least, for the front bumper catching on curbs and being ripped off the car.

Just be careful. we have had this issue many times, when young customers are old enough to buy/finance/insure a car, but rental agencies will require an age limitation. This is largely based on their insurance carrier's requirements, which means questionable coverage if you have an accident. Remember, you are just one, it's all the other idiots on the road you have to watch out for.
