I was wondering what you guys thought would be a cheap, fast drag car setup. I was thinking a 1st gen eclipse, rx-7 turbo II or a datsun 240z with a rb26dett swap(that wouldn't be cheap though).

I don't have 30g's to drop on a supra. A MKIII turbo supra would be cool to build though.

Heres my list of car that i want to build.

Datsun 510, 13b rotary swap.
Datsun 240z, 350 sc'd or RB26DETT
1g DSM
95 Talon TSi AWD:D .

For a full drag car, I'd go with the 1st gen DSM. Although I've had/heard of bad experiences with them, there's nothing else that can perform on that level for the price. If it's not a daily driver I say go for it.
