I think it looks tastefull. The car looks a bit high, did you ever think about lowering it?

that's a classic mustang stance for you...truck-like. yes I have plans for the full Steeda G-Track suspention. I'm really kind of dreading it though with that front splitter. it hangs low as it is at stock ride hieght. no drop it an inch and a half.

It looks good, but also like a shelf or a dolly or something. It kinda looks like your gonna play Battle Bots and go around flipping other cars over or something.

Haha yup just in time for winter. Actually though the bumper is functional. The piece that protrudes forward is called a splitter. It takes air and routes it to the side of the car, up and over the fender. This is a common part on a lot of GT touring cars found in The Trans Am series, as well as in BTCC on some cars. As the 2000 Cobra R was designed as a road course car (not a drag car) the included the splitter for aerodynamic purpouses.

Nice! I like the way the Cobra R looks. That front bumper looks mean in black. Ever thought of autocross?

To answer that question, yes I have. In fact, I am setting the car up for handling vs. drag. Soon the car will be getting the full Steeda G-Track suspention through Stage 3 which is basically a totally new suspention. I don't know about autocrossing as much as I'd love to do some circut racing with it. I have huge plans for this car right now, and when it's finished should be putting around 500hp to the ground. That's a ways off, but it is my plan.

I like it, but I think it'd look much better if you added more bodykit stuff than just that front(espcially sideskirts of some sort). It almost looks like it has a Jay Leno chin or something. And it looks rather incomplete.

Just my .02

I have not yet decided how I'm going to complete the car. I may end up doing a Cobra R replica (except in black not red). If that is the case it won't receive any sideskirts, or a rear valance. Because SVT was trying to keep the weight of the Cobra R down they added only parts that needed to be added (ie the wing, and the front bumper for aerodynamic, and stability issues at speeds 150+). So if I decide to go with the Cobra R look it will stay nearly the same aside from the rear wing and the hood. I have however been thinking of doing the Roush sideskirts with side exhaust, and the roush rear valance pieces. That would even out the lines on the bottom of the car. I believe I'm going to get the suspention squared away first however, as it will be lowered slightly. After that is taken care of I'll go from there.
