I am looking for a winter car and i was looking into the AWD turbo 1st gen talon/eclipse's. Does anyone know where i could pick one up for under $2000 or do u know someone selling one?

when i was looking for a DSM www.cars.com seemed to have the most. But also just keep a look in the local paper and autotrader.com.

yea i saw a couple in the paper but they were in the range of $5,500+ and im not lookin to spend that much. I was just lookin for a good AWD winter car. Thanks for the advice on cars.com...i'll hafta check that out.

another choice for a good AWD winter car would be a early 90s suby Imressa L. Obviously not a fast car with the 2.2l but a good daily winter driver.

Buy the Impreza cause even stock a DSM may have some issues.

yea, it would be nice, but for 1, i dont have $20K and for 2, it's not even street legal. :p

heres some of the sites i went to to find my DSMs.

then i called the local dodge and mitsu dealers every monday til they got so tired of me calling that 30 mins after a DSM came in they would call me to see if its what i wanted.:D

Sell ya my 92 Talon for $4500. Its modded a little and in nice shape. Hell of a sound system in it too.

i come across them every once and a while i just picked up my 90 talon tsi for 1500 and its in really good shape minus a few smaller things like 500 worth of work, as i see em ill let you guys know incase you want to snatch them up, ps i work at a dealership so i would buy the car then sell it to you........

I just decided to say F@%k it. Im just gonna drive my hooptie around in the snow this winter. I cant find a DSM for cheap enough and im just too impatient to wait.

Yep,AWD DSMs are getting rarer. That's why I choose to deal with it's little quirks and so-so quality cause it's fast,makes good ponies on the stock engine and goes in the snow plus mines in better shape than most 1st gens even with 112k on it.

yea i wish i could find one but i guess im stuck drivin my FWD
GS-R around all winter.....I guess i better raise my coilovers up a lil'.:D
