Bought 2 kegs from them for my New Years Ever party, which included me paying $30 per keg for shell deposit; one Coors Light, one Bud Light. $50 for tap deposit.

As you know, I sold my full Coors Light keg to b20badboy, and he gave me a Michelob shell to return for my deposit. Normally places don't care what shell it is, as long as they get a shell back. I go in, and forgot my receipt. Okay, my fault there, but I know how much I paid. They ring me up and say they're giving me back $100, I say no, it should be $110. $60 for the shells, $50 for the tap.

Manager looks up my invoice since I paid online, sees it was for $30 each, but says he'll only give me back $100 since Annheuser (sp?) shells are $25 deposit, and $30 for Coors Light... well, uh, I fucking paid $30 for both, so wtf? Manager absolutely refuses to look up my invoice and claims he can't (but he had the email from my online order?!?!?!)! I'm like, wtf?! Are you kidding me right now? He says "I don't like your attitude, and I'm about two seconds away from telling you to take your shells, tap, and to get the hell out of here". My response was "Fuck you. Give me my money minus the $10 you're fucking me out of, you've lost a customer, and I WILL let everyone I know about your shitty ways, and I will be coming back to prove you wrong once I get my receipt out of my friend's car." He repeats that line again and says I have two choices, lose the attitude real quick and listen to what he has to say, or get the hell out and that's that. Again, I say "fuck you. You pull that shit and you have two choices. I call the police, and they force you to give me my money back and I make sure your life is a living hell for not returning the money that is rightfully mine, or you come into work tomorrow with two shells thrown through your windows.. or both. Give me my mother fucking money right now." He still hesitates and says some more stupid shit, and I pull out my phone to start dialing, then he finally opens the register and gives me my money.

He gives me the money, and I leave. I know it's only $10, but what the fuck? He pulled up that I paid that in front of his fucking face and in front of me. Perhaps I'm overreacting a tad, but fuck that shit. I'll never go back there; unless I'm totally wrong about this and really did only pay $25 for the Bud Light shell, which I'm pretty sure I didn't.

Honestly I think my local store charges $25 for budlight and for coors. I never get coors, but still. I also can't complain because they forgot to even charge me for the shell. Good job for punking the manager guy though.

I thought he was mad about the Bud light keg not showing the same return. The fact that the other keg was the wrong product is not what he got into the guys ass for, it was because they returned less money for the deposit. As far as I know, when you make a deposit on something for $30, then it seems to me you should get that same amount when returning it. He paid $30 for the deposit on the Bud keg, returned exact same Bud keg for less than $30.

The dumbass manager pulled up my invoice ON HIS LAPTOP IN FRONT OF ME, SHOWED I paid $30 for each shell, including the Bud Light shell WHICH I RETURNED, but only got $25 back for. The fact I didn't have my receipt is now void - he pulled it up in front of me (even though he said he couldn't), and it had my name on it, which I showed him my driver's license for.

I returned at least one item that I paid for, and didn't get back what I paid for it. So fuck you if you think I'm in the wrong here.

You know what was sad? The kid that offered the little $5 voucher actually had some sort of customer service in him, and he was just one of the guys that gets the kegs from the back. Sure, it's only $5, but they would have saved a customer. m@ ill stay with my local guy i get my ish from... im lucky their... and your probably right about their online system... i work for a credit card processing business, and we deal with a lot of online sales.... it seems that where we have issues more and more with our online merchants but mainly it lies with amusement stores (liquor stores, movie tickets online, etc...) due to non techy peope really

Motivation for the site sucks ass... processing for transactions is the worst thing ever, poor DB (database) work is done, and low budget websites do not help them at all. you think if they pull in several thousands of dollars in a couple of days, why not spend a few g's on their site??
