we drove to Littleton tonite (C-470 and Wadsworth) tonite and saw one accident on the way (this trailblazer lost control and hit the guardrail on I-70 which was scary because I thought I was going to hit them) the snow was way shitty to drive in this evening... I was slipping around even in the CR-V.

The snow was real shitty this afternoon trying to get to Denver. I saw about 3 roll over accidents plus many more other accidents. I got to about monument and decided it wasn't worth it and turned around.

Kind of an off-topic question, how much does that year of 4Runner go for now-a-days with fair mileage on it? I'm thinking of getting rid of the Talon for a 4Runner.

Keep the Talon for summer,I regret selling my Eclipse since it was paid off.

I recommend the '99+ which I recommend due to it's very worthy mid gen ergonomic upgrades which can be viewed here

http://www.top4runners.com/ja/runhist31999.html

What isn't mentioned is that all '99 Highlander/Sport models came with 1" taller coils and it was hit and miss with the other '99 SR5s and early run '00 models. 5 speeds and rear diff locks were discontinued in '01 and got 1" lower coils to boot. :(

You can find '99s with say 100k on 'em for $8-11k for a well kept model and earlier or high mileage 3rd gens go for as low as $6k but $8k is more average around here.

Had to drive 50~ miles to go see my kids at home on Christmas Eve, 15 miles of it was through 2-4ft of snow and a couple 6ft drifts on the road that had not been plowed yet, nobody else had made any tracks yet either, I would've been better off riding one of my snowmachines out there, thanks AK DOT, assholes!!! I had it in 4 low with both lockers engaged and in 2nd gear the entire way, burned 3/4 tank of gas but I made it to them and they got their presents!! Took these couple pics on my way back out, I wanted to take some on the way out there but I didn't dare try to stop cuz I would've been fucked, no cell phone service out there and a LONG walk back to the closest phone. Anyways...

Wow,that's alot of unplowed road there and would be pretty tiresome creeping in 4lo on a paved road.

Yeah, 2 hours worth of 4 low driving, it sucked but my kids were happy and that's all that matters.

Thanks!

Honestly Im kinda worried about driving it around because it is so damn low. Shouldnt be too bad though. The digging shouldnt be much, until I decide to pull the new hatch into the garage with the CRX. THEN I have to dig out the hatch, and the POS Ford truck, just to get access to the garage door :frown: It will serve as some good post holiday exercise though I guess.

I doubt you'll have to dig out much. Nothing like last year anyway.
