Does anyone know if the B18B1(94-01 LS), B18C5(98,00,01 ITR) will fit onto a GSR head? It should bolt right up since it's a B series head and it's 1.8 right or am i wrong?
Thanks for the help.

I don't think the b18b one will. The GSR manifold upside down un-like other b series engines which are right side up.

AFAIK they are all different, except ITR stuff will bolt upto a B16A2 head?

The manifolds are all different but the basic bolt patten on the heads of the B18s are the same.

So does that mean i could put on a B18B(LS) or a B18C5(Type R) intake manifold onto my GSR?
Thanks for the help.

yes, but get it with a throttle body if you get the ITR one.

Ok, lets say i wanted to get a LS manifold, could i just use my GSR TB and if so, would i have to port the hole a little bigger to fit the GSR TB or?
I've found many manifolds, i found a 99 LS for $75 so i thought i would go for it. Will the LS or the ITR even give me any hp?
Thanks

wait a minute here..if you wat to use those manifolds for the GSR head, you will have to make a new outlet for the water jacket in the manifold(it sits lower on the head)
it has been known to be done, but not without machine work..i know of no economical way to make them work, perhaps someone else here might?

Well how do other people put a Type R intake manifold onto a GSR head? Is that all custom work they have to do with the water jacket?

from what i´ve seen as far as the type R manifold the inlet for the coolant is about 1 to 1.5 inches higher than the GSR. i dont think the machine work is all that hard or expensive.the bolt pattern is exactly the same for the B16A,B18C1,and the B18C5..now the B18A and the B18B have a slightly different bolt patern and will fit(with a little work and stud removal)but the same problem with the coolant inlet as well..
as far as HP goes, i did a B16A2 swap in VIOLATORS car and did a comparision to my ITR manifold.. the ITR is about 15% bigger around the TB and the intake runners..i´m sure its bigger than the B18B also

Allright, thanks for the info. Do you know where i could pick up a ITR manifold?? oh and also, if it doesnt have the TB, can i just use my GSR TB?
Thanks,
Bryan

i would imagine you could use the gsr one, although i'm not for certain.there might be throttle cable clearance problems(due to the angle of the GSR vs ITR)
i'm sure someone might know about that around here.
i just havent experimented with GSR TB's
i have an ITR manifold, but it's not fer sale(thinking about turbocharging next year)

So do you know of any sites that are selling ITR manifolds or would you mind telling me where u got yours? :D
Thanks,
Bryan

i bought mine brand new.. it wasnt cheap..250.00
through the same guy i bought the new ITR head, but that was almost 1 1/2 years ago.i can look around and see if i still got the info.
i know i have it on the receipt(i just have everything packed up in boxes)..
one place you can try is

this should take you to the honda/acura drivtrain stuff
other than that, ebay is the only other source i can think of
