When I see shit like this, makes you think about how random life is. How things can change, you could be driving and going to mom's house to give her a Christmas present and some psycho dude decides he wants to cut across the lane and hit you going 100 mph. Or you could be shopping at a mall and some guy that woke up on the wrong side of the bed and start shooting a gun and kill you. Fuckin people are weird these days!

If I posted this my title would have been "Tragic accident involving Supra" Not "Poor Supra".
That does indeed put life into perspective, I do indeed feel sorry for the Supra driver. I hope he never saw the car coming and felt no pain.

After watching that a couple times again, you can't help but wonder why the Supra driver didn't dive into the ditch, or anything. Seemed he would have had plenty of time to try and dodge that car, but then again, I guess it doesn't show the Supra, so I can only assume he wasn't paying attention, or DID try, but unsuccessfully.

There are some other angles on the video out there. He did indeed see the guy coming. He locks up the brakes a good 25ft before impact trying to avoid it.

if you look at the police reaction (especially cop in black jacket 2nd on scene) One look in the car and the attention was turned back to the felons car. If there was any life in the car, there would have been immediate attention to that vehicle.

Word to that. I actually watched this this morning before I hopped in the shower and tried thinking of a better response, and what you said was basically what I thought if. A car can always be replaced; a human being cannot. :( Very tragic.

in the live footage from the day that was aired, you can see smoke pouring off all 4 tires of the supra before impact.

The moron running from the cops got what was coming for him, its a shame he decided to take someone with him.

If you watch the youtube video you can see they were swerving to miss a set of stop sticks, and in the process hit the supra head on. I'm a devout police supporter, but in this situation they should have shut down the road from oncoming traffic. Everyone who watches police chases on tv knows that the crooks always swerve to miss them. This was a pretty high traffic road in mid day.
