All right.... I have a 94 Jetta 2.0 8V
its pretty slow in a staight line, but that is soon to change....

-13G turbo (in know, its kinda small... but its not the size that counts, its how you use it...right?:D) plus it was free
-2G Eclipse SMIC
-Walabro 255 LPH fuel Pump
-FMU
-Some kind of BOV
-and Piping (custom 2.5" DP and no cat)

I plan on running only 7-8 psi and hope to put something around 180 whp and 200 tq

that sounds like you could have a pretty rad sleeper! You should upgrade the turbo to like a T3 or something bigger later so you can push some real psi:)

my final setup will be
-16G turbo @ 16-20 psi
-JE pistons
-Standalone engine managment
-550 cc injectors
-Frontmount
-LSD

with that I hope to put do at least 300 hp or more, but thats along time off... damn $$$, unless every one wants to donate ;)

dude...i think that 550cc injectors would be overkill. I would go like 380cc or at most 475cc.

could be over kill.... I dont know much about turboing VW, but on a Mitsu with a 16G 450cc injectors are maxed out at 16-17psi, of course those a totally different style injectors

troy was running 28psi on his 310cc injectors so 380's should be more than enough. btw troy has the 12.4@117 jetta.

I know troy... he wouldnt have had that run if I hadnt broken out when I raced him... so I guess I'll just get some 310's, I wonder what his injector duty cycle is at with 28psi??

450cc's are standard on first gen DSM's

...and 2g's.

If you really want to know what kind of injectors you will need, it will require some math being done. You need to figure out how much air you will be pushing to judge the fuel that will have to be added. To say 310cc injectors are fine at 28psi is silly since every car is different. A DSM would melt if we tried to do that. 28psi though a straw is insignificant to the amount of CFM pushed through a 3" intake/TB at 28psi.

I'm sure someone has the formulas somewhere, I don't know them offhand....

the rc injector website has some injector size calculators on it.

According to the calulations its gonna depend on how much fuel pressure I'm getting...so I'll have to see what the new pump will do
