Ok so I'm not exactly sure which one I wanna go with next. Just wanted to get your opinions or if you have any other suggestions. Let me know which one i should go with.

Currently I have a 94 civic coupe ex with the (D16Z6) 1.6SOHC vtec with a greddy turbo kit running 5psi non intercooled. Best time 15.5 @ 88mph

i'd just reinforce what you have. sure, you're not gonna be as quick as others, but that's my .02

I second that, and then they will be kissing your ass when you're beating them with a SOHC.

cant you just get a new manifold & put the turbo kit on a b-series motor?

someone was telling me about a SOHC motor that was built & made 400+ hp, so that motor can do it

as far as the for the b16 yeah all I would have to do is get a new turbo manifold for it which is probably only a couple hundred but I dont know if I was to go with the B18 if one I could use that turbo kit even if i bought a new manifold plus I dont think that turbo is big enough to push it good its the Greddy TD04

Greddy D Series Turbo kit bolts onto a B16 (or B18) just fine with the addition of the HKS B Series Manifold...

I Ran the old little GReddy FMIC as well. If I was you I would do a B16 swap and run the turbo kit you have, just intercool it.

aah, the legendary Hype-R debate

i'd say get the b16

the CTR motors are way overpriced IMHO. i'd suggest getting a b18c1 tho, that extra .2 discplacement make a big difference. just ask Eric after i let him drive my car compared to his b16 powered civic

Thats just a run of the mill Civic Si, w/ a B16A2. You don't want to blow money on a high compression B16B(Civic Type R motor) and throw a turbo on it. Just get a regulat B16A
