Alam Issues!!!

I have an unknown alarm on my wifes eclipse...I dont have a remote to it but it does have a toggle switch and button on the kick panel..the system didnt have fuse in the power cable so i put one in and it started to go off....i put the key in the ignition and it didnt shut off until i was messing with the switch and button...now the siren is off and when i pull the key out the little red light starts to flash...I'm guessing that its now armed...but I cant set it off now...I tried closing the door and waiting then opening it to see if that does it but nothing happens.....whats wrong here????

I know the carpet looks wet but its from the clutch master cylinder leaking...but its fixed

if you don't have a remote, why are you messing with it in the first place? just take the fuse out, bam, fixed.

a lot of old alarms go off when you put a new fuse in the power wire. the remote turns the alarm off.

i can turn it off with the switch....all i want to do is figure out if the alarm will sound if the car is messed with....
