Help Me!

Everytime I go to burn a CD it says "No Recorder Found" and when I go into "My Computer" the F:/ drive isnt even listed at all???? How do I get my CD Burner back???? Please Help!

Is it lighting up when you power up the computer? Does it show up in bios? If not...I'd make sure it has power and check the settings in BIOS....go from there. If that doesnt work..there are a few other things you can try.

Is it an internal or an external? What o/s do you have? Was it working before? I would first make sure it has power, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. If that doesn't work try deleting it from device manager and see if it will re-detect. If that doesn't work let me know.

I have Windows 98 and it just reappeared, I dont know what the fuck happened, I turned the computer off fora while and suddenly its back!
