Jack in the Box is in Colorado again.

http://www.meetjackbox.com/

1 location open now in Golden, 1 coming to Arvada, another in Parker, and the last to Aurora.

I went to the Golden one. It's real, and its awesome. Taco's + sourdough jack ftw

Right when Jack-In-The-Box started in Colorado, was when a little boy died from eating a hamburger from there. It was the first time people had heard about JITB do they didn't survive in Denver for very long. My friend made me eat some when we drove to Vegas last year. I'll try them out.

Where exactly is the Golden location? I miss the Taco John's that used to be in Golden. :(

Taco John's are only on the I-25 corridor.

Thanks M@. :)

Someone died from food poisoning back in 96? or so. Jack in the Box has since become one of the cleanest fast food chains in the country, and it even spurred new regulations in many states for cleanliness.

For those who haven't been; Get the 2 taco's for 99 cents, add extra hot sauce, and dip them in the buttermilk ranch. mmmmmmm, best fast food meal ever.

The Golden location is at Colfax and Sixth Avenue on the Southeastish corner.

I seem to recall a huge food poisoning incident...

That was nearly 15 years ago, and other chains at the time were hardly immune from the E.coli problem... Jack In The Box was the unlucky one that had it happen first. If you want food poisoning nowadays, just go to Taco Bell... they seem to make the news at least once a year.

In any case, it's cool to see them come to Colorado. I've gone so long without them that I don't even remember why I've been missing them. I'm still more happy about Carl's Jr being here though.

Colfax and 6th? What a weird place to put them. Is that by the Home Depot and Khols?

I was hoping a thread about this was gonna pop up. I had some the other night, and it was quite good. And they seem too be prospering everywhere else around Colorado, so it was a good decision to bring them back, IMO.
