That's pretty cool, actually.
What street is it looking down? Anyone know?

The dirt street is 16th taken from what is approximately current day Colfax & Lincoln. The street running from the bottom left to the upper right corner is Broadway.
The giveaway is the building in the lower left corner. This was Denver's first fire station. it is now the Pioneer Monument next to Civic Center. Here it is on google maps:

Looks like a digitally enhanced photograph to me, not a painting.

I like this picture a lot, I wonder how much it would be for someone to print this out. Maybe Mario could do it. I would love to hang this in my house, and just look at everything all at one time. Nice find Weston.

That's awesome! Great find, Weston!
In 2000 (for the turn of the milennium), the city of Arvada put out a calendar where each month was a different location within the city. On the left hand side was a black and white photograph of the city in the early 1900's. Then it morphed into a picture taken in 1999 at the exact same location. It was so beautiful to see the changes and growth. I have one of the calendars at home, but I was looking for an example picture online. I couldn't find one. :( Oh well.

At 5,000+ pixels and 300dpi, I could print it 4 feet wide, if not more.

We printed some covers for a Boulder chamber 2005 directory that had a picture of the US 36 turnpike in 1958, even in that fairly short amount of time its pretty crazy to look at there was like NOTHING out there..miles of empty fields going to the little town of Boulder.
POB.

No really, how much? If it's cheap enough, I'll buy one for myself, and one for a secret santa gift for the office this year.
