I've been playing with the idea of selling my hatch. I had originally built this for my wife but she instead wanted a 1g dsm, which I got for her. So now I'm at a point where I either sell this or keep this.
THe Car: 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback, standard (absolute base model). Shell 220,xxx thousand miles. Clean title.
98 usdm GSR engine approx 90,xxx miles with gsr hydraulic transmission
OBDI p72
Rywire OBD0 to OBDI conversion harness
hasport mounts with cable to hydraulic tranny conversion
ITR pistons
ITR cams
ARP headstuds
Type R oil pump
No name air intake
DC 4/1 headers
HKS catback exahust (it looks stock, but here's the link to it exhaust (http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HKS-LES-H05) )
Tanabe front strut tower bar
Skunk 2 full coilovers
Walboro 255 lph fuel pump
VAFC version 1
PLX M500 (sensor recently replaced)
energy suspension bushings
90-93 integra disc brake conversion with integra brake booster
steel braided brakelines
new slotted and drilled brake rotors
new brake pads
mini battery
Autometer tachometer (the car wasn't equipped with a tach originally)
new windshield
New 14 inch steelies with Fuzion Hri tires
SI swaybars added
2 sets of SI front seats (one set worn in the usual places, the other in almost perfect condition sans a cigarette burn in the drivers seat) and si back seat
THe GOOD: I have barely driven this car since I put it together. I've put maybe 2000 miles on it, and even that much I am doubting. I built this for my wife, and she has driven it less. The title is clear, and the shell is in pretty good condition except for a few minor flaws. At a glance, the car looks lightly modded but isn't enough to turn heads, which is exactly what I wanted.
The BAD: The car runs a littel rich due to the fuel pump, and I haven't had the chance to tune it with the VAFC. I only just recently added the wideband. Oil light flickers off and on as the connector to the oil sensor is loose. It was like that even with the original engine. Hood and bumpers are black (the hood is primered), and the car is red. Personally, I don't think it looks bad at all, but opinions differ. Right now the car is on jackstands, as I haven't found the motivation to finish the brake /swaybar upgrade. However, the car will be put together prior to it being sold to anyone. Finally, the gauge cluster is not the original one. The old one accidentilly got broken during the tach install. THe only good one I found at the time to replace it was with a lower mileage one.
Like I said earlier, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it right now. Just weighing my options. I'm also entertaining trade offers as well. Looking for something RWD. I'm honestly in the market for an older corrola, fc, or 240. May even consider a few domestics and maybe even an 1g awd dsm as well. Otherwise, you are welcome to MAKE OFFERS. Pics below.
