integra axle removal?

Is the rear axle removable on a trailing arm? I tried to remove the large lock nut on the back...but it still wouldnt move...any thoughts?

rear axle stub? I dont know what else to call it...The hub rides on it.

basicaly, im trying to do a rear disc swap on my EK. The rear bearings are diffrent size from the ek to the DC. So, im trying to avoid replacing the trailing arm as I just had new bushings put in my EK one.

If I woulda read all my rear disc conversion post, I woulda got what I needed...darnit...
