This isn't real exciting at all, but I thought I'd post it out of pure boredom.

You can see my oven, sandblaster, parts receiving shelf and my 80 gallon compressor is hidden in the back corner along with a TV and stereo on a shelf above the compressor to keep me company:)

Thats a nice shop! I'm trying to get myself a hold of a extra set of stock rims. So I can have a set for winter and summer. Gonna plan on getting both sets done. I need to wait till i get paychecks.

Thanks a lot guys.

Right this second these are all the colors I have in stock:
-High Gloss Black
-Low Gloss Black
-Gunmetal
-Bronze(it's pretty dark w/ some gloss)

Hopefully one of those will work for you, but if your dead set on another color I can most likely get it.

do you have a pic of something that has been coated with the bronze? that is one of the colors i had in mind.

its either going to be flat black, bronze, or white. white i think will make the 16's look too small.

mmmmm... didn't know you had bronze! *pondering*

So, is sandblasting safe on aluminum wheels? I always thought you're supposed to beadblast aluminum because sandblasting is too harsh for the soft metal?

I've sandblasted a bunch of aluminum parts with no problems

There are lots of misunderstandings about "sand blasting" in general. There are literally dozens of different abrasives that can be used for different purposes moreso then different metals. Each abrasive has different values as far as the finish it leaves on the surface of the metal. I currently use a relatively high end glass/sand mix that leaves a medium finish on the any metal surface that the powder loves to stick to.
You can see about 20 OEM wheels in my shop that I have blasted and you can see the finish for yourself, it's very smooth and doesn't damage any metal. Heck I've blasted old brittle metal as well as thin sheet metal with no problems.

My bronze is a darker color than that, more like actual bronze sculptures type color. I may be getting a "brass" color that is inbetween gold and that bronze in the pic.
