A couple of weeks ago my car blew one fuse at the track, it blew the interior light/taillights/sidemarkers (all exterior lights besides the headlights). I replaced it and it was fine, no more blown fuses. Then about two weeks later we're out getting some video of our cars, Forum is driving and he hits a curb, the bumper hit and went over the curb. Less then five minutes later the same fuse blew, we goto conoco and get it replaced, it blew the fuse again. Ever since then it blows every fuse I put in it. Anybody have some suggestions on whats happening?

I'd blame demonic possession personally. Fscking Honda demons! You saw Gremlins right? I'd expect that the same thing is happening here!

Or maybe you just have a pinched wire somewhere. Roll it over here on my next day off and we'll poke around with the multimeter..see if we can figure out WTF is going wrong.

Check the grounds on that bad boy, there's one by the thermostat, one on the motor, and various other ones around. That seems like the logical solution.

I checked the grounds but not the one by the thermastat...I did unplug the gauge cluster and it worked...then I plugged it back in and boom...the fuse blew...it could be the connection to the cluster or the cluster itself..any suggestions?

Eric, when you wired up that tach...did you ever connect any wires from the aftermarket tach to the wires at the back of the cluster? If so, you might just have some wires touching or what not. If you do, tape them up and see if that helps. Other than that i really have no clue.
Sorry if i was no help.

Well I tore apart the car today and I think I have the problem solved...I redid some connections with exposed wire and taped them up, also when I got everything back together I put the audio console (w/ cig. lighter outlet) in and the fuse blew...Moved some wires and I think I may have the problem solved, I hope it works so I can go on that drive, thanks for the help and replys.

I think it's all fixed. There where a few wires that weren't completely covered. Lights work great...now to get the alarm to blink the turn signals and possibly the fog lights when I arm it...more fun.

hook up the alarm so the blinkers & headlights flash when you arm/disarm

i think the blinkers already do. How come they arent flashing anymore? Is there a wire that is supposed to be hooked up to the running light fuse and it's not?

The blinkers do, I'm not sure if that would create a circuit between the running lights and headlights...I just need to check the connection though the fuse is fine and I doubt the alarm took a crap on me..I hope anyways..I want the fog lights to flash
