What exactly does a fuel rail do? sorry if it is a stupid question but i am just curious whether if actually is worth buying one considering if it helps with performance....and with injectors can you ever go too big? or are there sizes for the kind of power you want? or is it just the bigger the better?
Delivers fuel to the injectors, basically serves as a distribution block. You'll only need a bigger one (high flow) when you start making some serious horsepower. I ran a stock fuel rail all the way to like 250+ whp on a stock B16A2.
You should generally base your injector depending on your power goals, and the type of fuel and you plan on running; you need about 30% bigger injectors if you plan on running E85 because you have to run more fuel to be equivelant to gasoline.
Hope this helps.
