cluster ?

so i had a problem with my whole cluster not working but i got it work but the temp gauge and gas gauge are pegged all the way up. at start up when the car is completely cold it takes like 1 min or so and the temp needle goes all the way up. any reason for this? any help would be great

I had a similar issue, would always seem like I was running hot. The night before I took it to the shop, I swapped the cluster, which was the problem. My guess is something like that, since there was cluster malfunction to begin with. Do you have a friend or know anyone with the same cluster(to see if it will work, without buying a new one)?

but the cluster wasnt working cause of a fuse not being in

Hmm, well then...If all else fails take it to the pro's. But try to check using a similar cluster. If it is still screwed up then, you can rule that out. Any reason to even believe that cluster may be the culprit?

it was the cluster i bought a new cluster that didnt have a rpm and now the temp and gas work fine. you were right!!! good job lol

ya fuckin cluster. i cant believe it was a reverse light fuse that was stopping the whole cluster from working
