That guy that ran 12.4 just ran a 12.2 with the 100giggles.
A different guy named drew went 13.4@101 on stock turbo. Pretty good week for stock turbos:eek: You can see time slips and mods for the 13.4 car at www.wannarunthatshit.com
Nah....neither of those guys are local. That guy Drew has a fast car, but he is a total dick about it. he thinks he is gods gift to the volkswagen community. His car is so ghetto now, the times it runs are becoming irrelevant.
On another side note, Billy T pushed like 402whp with NO nitrous. He was running 26psi if memory serves. The motor is completely stock internally. He said after he takes it to the track again, he is gonna try to hit 500whp on nitrous. I guess he has another built motor ready to go into the car, so if he blows this one, it is no biggie.

heck yea, thats my boy ric who hit the 12.2. Its a guy i meet in boise. sweet car, he just put a jetta front end last week. it looks nice.
Drew is a prick and if I remember right his car has all the seats removed except the drivers. He talked alot of trash about troys runs. good driver though and still an impressive time for having the stock turbo. Tyler, I think if you went to sea level you would give drew some serious competition, you have almost the same mods.
Billy should be in the 11's (so should troy) and i think he will as soon as he gets his transmission issues worked out.
Slowly but surely 1/4 times are dropping, we just need more people pushing the limits of the 1.8t

Why don't you guys just get a bigger turbo? I mean, it doesn't have to be a stage III does it? I'd personally like to see a John Salmi type 11 second run in a Jetta with a bigger turbo and no giggle juice (although I'll be giggling soon too). And for god's sake, keep your daily driver interior!

eh, that's what credit is for, and if you get fast enough, start paying it off by putting money on races :D In all seriousness though, I'd really like to see it done!

In order to get a bigger turbo we have to get a different exhaust manifold and downpipe. then tuning comes into play. Its hard to hook up a stand alone because of our drive by wire system, however there is a kit to convert it to regular cable throttle but thats another nice chunk of $$$. Most people in the dub "tuning community" are very conservative so its easier to buy a kit like the apr stage 3 that has everything included.
Someday. Maybe. Someday...
T88 and a 200 shot direct port setup to get it spooled! YEah!!! :) :)
Ok - I woke up now...

I plan on getting the atp manifold and getting a turbo similer to troy's(t3/t4 60-1) and do most of the kit custom. I might end up with the atp gen 2 with a big shot of giggle though.
