Since I am new to the whole forced induction world. I am wondering if a 1990 Talon has a factory dual port actuator. The reason I ask, is I need to get a new MBC. And the one I am looking at from Turbonetics says it only works with a external wastegate or a factory dual port actuator. Thx in advance guys.
David
No it does not. I'll suggest a hallman MBC - simple, accurate, works every time. I've used hallman MBCs for nearly 10 yrs.

Is there any certain model I should get from hallman?
You just need a standard boost controller. Get their cheapest one and you'll be fine.
I use a hallman es. If this is your first DSM, beware of fuel cut. 16 - 17 psi is about what the MAF will let you boost to. Except on cold days. :)
Hehe. 18-20 psi on cold days ftw. I suppose my GM MAF helped that, too. ;)

I wish my DSM wasn't broken :(
That's cheating. :) An it turns the 14b into nothing but a heat pump.

I'm pretty sure he is on the E16G with BPR7ESs. I am getting ready to sell my E16G soon.

I did, until I broke the front tranny mount to the motor. I just got done putting in a new clutch last week, drove around the block and it broke in the driveway. I have to either weld it on with nickel rod, or swap my parts to the other 6-bolt. If I swap over I'm going to buy a stroker crank. Its such BS, all this money for nothing.
E16G has no shaft play, 2,000 miles since it came out of the box and went on the Laser.
