View Full Version : Del Sol Door.

LOL after doing motor swaps, changing out parts ect I cant take a damn door off. LOL.

So hear is the deal, I have a 1995 Honda Del Sol. And when I tride to replace the driver side door do to a big dent. I tride to take the door off, I got all the bolts out, and then I noticed that it had like a backit going from the door to the frame of the car, just a little mettle slab held by a pin, I cant get the pin out of it to get the door off.

Anyone have a good way of doing this, I have tride banging the pin out, It just moves up and down.. Also when I do get the pin out, do I need to even have the door held on by that pin to, I don't even understand why it's on there. I noticed it is on all del sols. Anyway thanks and lmk.

Think it keeps the door opened for you when you open it, if it wasnt there itd open further then it should , like bending backwards. Try a sawZall

LoL SerTif I just took a look at it and now I feel like a jack ass thanks alot man lol. And BoostedEg, thanks ill try that, I think I did though and it just wont come out, gets pretty close to the end, I even tride to get something to bang on that would bang it out, something small but did not work..

Thanks and ill be sure and try it out.

There's is usually a snap ring holding that pin, did you get that?

Yeah for some strange reason I keep putting tride, not tried. thats not the only thing I spell wrong. I think allot of it is because I type so fast. And I just get going to fast. Or maybe it's not any of that, maybe im just dumb as shit, I don't know lol..

Anyway thanks though, and I never heard of a snap pin HondaPower, but ill check on it to. If it has one how do I get it off. And it is on the pin or what?
