I have a del sol with a b16. While doing my turbo kit i cracked the bung off the block where the oil feed comes from(oil pressure switch).I have tried all options that could be tried with my limited amount of tools. I live in Laramie Wy because of school and desperatly need my car. I have the funds but need some direction of where i can by a block and where the closest shop that could swap blocks for me is. any ides email me vtec-yo@hotmail.com

Ouch, that's rough man... sorry about your luck. Closest to Wyoming is going to be PFI which is in Ft. Collins. You'd have to call them for pricing. How bad did it crack?

are you going to wyo tech? i ask because you said you live in Laramie for school?
if thats the case why dont you work on it in class, and have one of you teachers help you?

I did the same thing. had to pull the motor and bring it in to a shop, he welded it shut , dont think jb welds gonna help on this one though unfortunatly good luck man

Pics of said crack? Maybe it can be fixed with the right tools and know how. If you can bring the block down here to Denver I can probably fix it up for you.

That suck man. I did something similar to you a while back. I keep screwing it in and mess up the thread on the oil feed line pretty bad.

did the shop completly weld that hole shut, and if they did where did they drill the new hole for

what about welding the damaged whole shut and getting a oil filter sandwich plate to supply oil
